Conference registrations are open!!

Dear Reader

We meant to share this with you ages ago but there’s been a lot going on…

The September Process Work Community Conference registrations are open!

This conference is about sharing how lovers of Process Work are applying the model in diverse community applications to grapple with the challenges of our times.

This year, we put out an expression of interest to be a presenter and were touched by the range of applications we received – there is so much incredible work being done, aided by the powerful model that is Process Work (thanks Arny).

We were looking for an emergent theme in the applications – a thread linking some of them together that hinted at the dreaming process of the conference this year – and it was about environment, with three stand-out applications all focused on this topic in some way.

So, we got together with the three applicants and workshopped their ideas until the conference theme became more distinct…drumroll please…the 2024 Process Work Community Conference theme is...

Potentials & Peaks in Uncertainty: Climate, body talk, and land management

From the webpage:

Issues of environmental degradation and climate change are cultural issues, rooted in the ways we conceptualise and relate to nature, bodies, and non-rational realities: that nature is a resource to be dominated and exploited; that embodiment is less important than intellect; and that rationality is the superior way to be in this world.

This is one of, if not THE big issue of our times and we are honoured to create a space to explore together in community how to engage with the complexity, heartbreak, precarity, and potential, that such profound challenges present.

Who are these excellent presenters guiding our work together? Check out their bios here and take a moment to feel into what we're cooking up - what does it stir in you?

Are you called to join us in this exploration?

We hope so!

warmly

Dear Reader, This month's newsletter focuses on 'the calling': how we support ourselves to listen to, focus on, and unfold the signals arising within and around us. But let’s start with a word on why this can be hard. Most of us have stayed with a familiar path at some point, even while quieter signals were suggesting another. In many ways it's deeply human. The known track feels safe, and our communities and larger systems often settle into well-worn tracks too. Sometimes those tracks...

Dear Reader, Spring is nature's own celebration of diversity, a riot of new colours, shapes and forms all emerging together, each different, each essential to the whole. And so too with our upcoming programs that we are delivering in spring and summer! This newsletter is focused on skills to support diversity because diversity lies at the heart of Process Work. It begins with the concept of Deep Democracy, the listening and valuing of all parts, knowing that different energies all have their...

Dear Reader, This month’s newsletter is inspired by poetry. The poet’stask is simple. He looks for quiet, and speaks to whathe finds there.David Whyte, Excerpt from The Poet So we invite you to become a poet for a moment. What do you hear in the quiet? In your body? In the world? In your relationships? In your dreams? What do you find there? Make a few notes. We begin by slowing down, seeking quiet so we can hear more clearly. We can consider other types of listening too – listening to tiny...
