Got a yearning for learning? Our last classes before summer break...

Dear Reader

We've well and truly turned the corner of winter here in Australia*. The days are getting longer, spring is springing, and the end-of-the-year wind-down is not far away.

We've still got gas in the tank for teaching though, so if you're still keen for more learning and want to end the year feeling more fulfilled in your work, here's what's coming up for the rest of September and October...

For those with a focus on one-to-one work:

Working at the Edge of the Unknown - 28 Sept (next week!) - deepen your skills to stay at the edge between the known and unknown to support meaningful growth and transformation - with Dr Silvia Camastral.

The Skillful Conversation – 26 Oct - greater understanding of how language works to deepen (or hinder) your client's ability to go deeper into their process - with Dr Silvia Camastral.

For those with a focus on group work:

Trauma-Informed Facilitation - 8 & 15 Oct - skills, knowledge, and confidence to design trauma-informed group spaces and how to respond well when people get triggered in groups - with Liz Scarfe.

Working Creatively with Differences - 18 Oct – 15 Nov - learn how to support groups to grapple with difference in powerful and creative ways - with Beck Ronkson.

Thinking about furthering your Process Work studies in the new year?

Applications are now open for the 2025-26 cohorts in the Two-Year Process Work Study Program - one in Melbourne, and one in Byron Bay (we'll be sending more info about it later this week).

If you're contemplating or curious about the Diplomate Training Program, come along to our next information session on Saturday, 16th November. You can read all about the program, download the prospectus, and register for the info session here.

Wishing you all the best wherever your learning journey is taking you.

warmly

* Of course, not everywhere in Australia has a 'winter' and 'spring' - for those not in Aus, did you know we have at least seven different climate zones! And Indigenous understandings of 'seasons' tend to be more nuanced than the Western 'four-season' concept.

Dear Reader, This month's newsletter focuses on 'the calling': how we support ourselves to listen to, focus on, and unfold the signals arising within and around us. But let’s start with a word on why this can be hard. Most of us have stayed with a familiar path at some point, even while quieter signals were suggesting another. In many ways it's deeply human. The known track feels safe, and our communities and larger systems often settle into well-worn tracks too. Sometimes those tracks...

Dear Reader, Spring is nature's own celebration of diversity, a riot of new colours, shapes and forms all emerging together, each different, each essential to the whole. And so too with our upcoming programs that we are delivering in spring and summer! This newsletter is focused on skills to support diversity because diversity lies at the heart of Process Work. It begins with the concept of Deep Democracy, the listening and valuing of all parts, knowing that different energies all have their...

Dear Reader, This month’s newsletter is inspired by poetry. The poet’stask is simple. He looks for quiet, and speaks to whathe finds there.David Whyte, Excerpt from The Poet So we invite you to become a poet for a moment. What do you hear in the quiet? In your body? In the world? In your relationships? In your dreams? What do you find there? Make a few notes. We begin by slowing down, seeking quiet so we can hear more clearly. We can consider other types of listening too – listening to tiny...
