What if your next big breakthrough isn't a promotion - but deeper presence?

Dear Reader,

From what we’ve gathered from those who sign up to this newsletter, you’re likely someone who cares about how people relate - to themselves, to each other, and to the world around them.

Facilitators are often behind the scenes, quietly guiding conversations, creating space for hard truths, and helping groups find their way through complexity. But in today’s climate, their role is becoming not just helpful but essential.

And yet, ‘facilitator’ is rarely a job description that is listed. It’s one of those hidden, unnamed parts of many positions. Many folks don’t identify as facilitators, but most of us are. Working with people together to achieve something is often the key aspect of many roles that, if done well, can be the game-changing element. Facilitation is leadership, service, and collaboration in action, and a skill that, when practiced with intention, has a profound impact on outcomes. And like all human work, it takes more than a checklist. It asks for presence, awareness, and a willingness to grow.

Whilst that sounds simple enough, its no easy feat in times of increasing complexity, conflict and polarisation. Perhaps you feel stuck -

  • You’re hitting limits in hard conversations.
  • You want to lead or guide others with more confidence.
  • You sense there's more possible in your work, but don’t quite know how to unlock it.

What if your next step isn’t learning more information, but cultivating more awareness?

The wonders of AI now allow us to gather information and advice on all sorts of things - and it's great at gathering information, giving steps and overviews, but fostering embodied learning and awareness? Not so much. And this is where Process Oriented Facilitation comes into its own, because it is not just about “running groups.” It’s about learning to meet the moment, any moment, with depth, clarity, and presence.

Any why does that matter? Because it is the only true way of being open to the potential diversity and possibility in any group. Because it is safer for everyone and yields infinitely more opportunity. It's live, human and frequently unpredictable.

Here are 5 reasons why it might be the most important personal or professional investment you make this year:

1. You Learn by Doing - Not Just Watching

This isn’t passive learning. Live training puts you in real-time situations where you practice sensing subtle dynamics, navigating tension, and guiding transformation as it unfolds. You’ll walk away with tools you’ve actually used, not just heard about. Learning through felt experience is a crucial aspect of Process Work because it is founded on sensing subtle signals, body awareness, and emotional nuance, skills best learned live and in interaction. And yes, we need to build skills to do this online as well as in person!

2. You Grow in a Real Community

This work thrives in relationship. You’ll be learning alongside other curious, committed people - each bringing their own experience, culture, and voice. The group becomes part of your training. You’ll be supported, challenged, and inspired. People that attend our trainings each bring their own rich and varied contexts and applications, which deepens the learning and takes into areas that are greater than any of our individual knowledges – it’s the x factor element!

3. You Build Your Inner Leadership

Facilitation begins with knowing yourself. In the training space, you’ll meet your own growth edges. You’ll explore how your background, emotions, and blind spots shape your presence. And you’ll discover how those same parts of you can become strengths.

4. You Get Comfortable in the Unknown

Let’s be real: life isn’t linear. Teams, clients, and communities don’t follow scripts. Process Work trains you to recognise and trust what’s emerging, even when it’s messy, complex, or surprising.

5. You Step Into a Bigger Version of Yourself

Whether you're a therapist, educator, leader, or someone who shows up in hard conversations, this training expands your capacity to hold space, speak truth, and move toward real change.

If this sounds like you, and you think upping your facilitation game might be your next growth area, or you think it might be the next skillset that propels the capacity of your team, enrol now in one of our amazing upcoming offerings – there are limited capped places in each training so that everyone gets to practice. Dear Reader, This month's newsletter focuses on 'the calling': how we support ourselves to listen to, focus on, and unfold the signals arising within and around us. But let’s start with a word on why this can be hard. Most of us have stayed with a familiar path at some point, even while quieter signals were suggesting another. In many ways it's deeply human. The known track feels safe, and our communities and larger systems often settle into well-worn tracks too. Sometimes those tracks...

Dear Reader, Spring is nature's own celebration of diversity, a riot of new colours, shapes and forms all emerging together, each different, each essential to the whole. And so too with our upcoming programs that we are delivering in spring and summer! This newsletter is focused on skills to support diversity because diversity lies at the heart of Process Work. It begins with the concept of Deep Democracy, the listening and valuing of all parts, knowing that different energies all have their...

Dear Reader, This month’s newsletter is inspired by poetry. The poet’stask is simple. He looks for quiet, and speaks to whathe finds there.David Whyte, Excerpt from The Poet So we invite you to become a poet for a moment. What do you hear in the quiet? In your body? In the world? In your relationships? In your dreams? What do you find there? Make a few notes. We begin by slowing down, seeking quiet so we can hear more clearly. We can consider other types of listening too – listening to tiny...
